Byron Bay Whale & Dolphin Trail

The beachside town of Byron Bay is a hot spot for whale watching and a playground for dolphin pods, attracting thousands of tourists every year. To coincide with the launch of the new trail, Armsign developed colourful and interpretive signage and bespoke sculptures, crafted from recycled timber and weathering steel.

The trail tells the story of the migration of the humpback whale in an interesting and
fun way, appealing to all age groups. There are hidden icons for kids to find along the way, linking back to support marketing we designed, found at the tourist information centre. QR codes provide interactive links to environmental groups and relevant stakeholders.
