Interpretive Signage

We are thrilled to showcase our latest project at Takura Environmental Reserve—an innovative interpretive signage initiative that enhances visitor engagement and learning.

From concept development to installation, Armsign worked closely with Fraser Coast Council in developing a series of educational interpretive signs that highlight the reserve’s unique ecosystem and significant local species.

What makes this project truly special is the range of bespoke interactive elements that were designed and developed for in order to captivate the Reserve's visitors. The signage features:

🎧 Wind up audio player to showcase the birdcalls of local species found within the reserve.

🔄 A custom built post with spinnable blocks showing some of the local reptile species.

🔍 A variety of discovery panels revealing facts and details about the reserve’s flora and fauna.

🛠️ Sculpted illustrations and tactile elements that compliment the signage.

The suite of interpretive signage creates a memorable experience for the visitor - regardless of age. Through a range of interactive, hands-on elements, the signage both educates and inspires curiosity as to the significance of Takura Environmental Reserve.
